Review: Maybeline Hyper Curl Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara

Hello lovies! Here is another review post! And this time i'm gonna do a review on Maybeline's Hyper Curl Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara. 

When it comes to mascara, Maybeline is my favorite brand. Why? Simple, it's affordable & it works really well. Maybeline Cat eye Mascara is my favorite but I need to give this one a try.

I'm not a fan of thick/creamy mascara formula because I have very thin lashes so 'wet' mascara makes my lashes heavy. At first, I thought that this mascara won't suit me since it looks really thick. There is nothing special about the brush too(besides its curved) unlike the Cat eye mascara brush which I really love!

I applied two coats of this mascara and look at the result....

A lot better huh? I was impressed! Long and thick lashes!

WHAT I LIKE

- Very affordable! php250 (less than $5.00)

- Nice packaging

-It doesn't clump & smudge

-Two coats will give you natural looking long and thick lashes. 

-holds the curl for 5-6 hours (it doesn't feel heavy!)

-the formula is not too wet nor too dry.

-stays for a long time

WHAT I DON'T LIKE

-Since it's water proof, it is really hard to remove. I use petroleum jelly to remove the mascara and to condition my lashes as well.

-I find it difficult to apply this mascara on my lower lashes because of the 'curved' plus fat brush. 

I'm gonna give this product 4.5 out of 5! This product is now officially my Holy Grail mascara! 

REVIEW: Fanny Serrano Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner

        If you read my last Haul post , you know the reason why I bought this gel liner from Fanny Serrano Cosmetics. I had a hard time choosing between this and Maybeline Lasting Drama Gel-liner. Two main reasons why I bought this one is first, it's cheaper and second, my boyfriend told me to support Filipino products which I think is correct. I've heard/read a lot of feed backs about this product.  Most of them are positive but there are also some negative ones. Finally, I got the chance to give it a try.

[ This is just my opinion and based from my experience on using the product. ]

Php 225.00 for 4ml bottle, cheap compared to other gel liner brands.

After less than a week of using this product this is how it looks like (at least for me!) I don't know if it's just me but I always get too much amount on my brush so I have to put some back that's why my bottle is so messy. :(

Current Favorite: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Soft Nude

Hi guys ! I'll be sharing to you my current favorite lipstick.  Revlon Color burst 070 Soft Nude! I'm so in love  with this lipstick!

First for the packaging, the quilted surface makes it look classy! It looks expensive but it's not. The cap perfectly fits! I can say that the packaging is very good for a drugstore make up. By the way I got this lippie from my Aunt who works in Israel. It was love at first sight or should I say it was 'Love at first swipe'!

Its very creamy and glides easily on the lips. It has no shimmer which I really like and my lips don't feel dry every time I use this. The nude color is just the "exact" nude color for me. I don't look dead or i'm running out of blood! After falling in love with this, I want to try the other colors of Revlon ColorBurst collection!

This lipstick is perfect with dramatic eyes! Here is one look I did using this lipstick. Click HERE for my blog post about this look. The lipstick costs around $6-$8, i'm not sure cause as I have said  this was a gift. Will I buy this lipstick again? YES YES YES!! plus the other colors as well! 

So obviously I love everything about this lipstick, i'm not saying that it's perfect but I can't find anything that I don't like about this product.
